Which one was hit by a meteor?

In Ripleys Believe It Or Not: "The sailing ship "Eclipse" was struck by a meteor in mid Pacific. The masts were carried away, the vessel was abandoned with a loss of 3 lives. Lifeboats covered the 900 miles to Hawaii in 13 days." THe picture is like a wooden ship with white sails, like a typical cliche ship of the 18/19th centuries.2602:306:C5F3:4090:4145:9208:1B63:7CF7 (talk) 06:48, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
