The leadership structure of the West Java Regional House of Representatives (DPRD West Java) consists of one Speaker and multiple Deputy Speakers, who serve as the second-highest ranking officials in the DPRD. The Deputy Speakers are appointed by political parties with the second, third, and fourth most seats. Appointments are made at the beginning of each legislative period, along with the Speaker. If a Deputy Speaker resigns, is dismissed, or passes away during the term, a replacement is installed via an interim appointment (Pergantian Antarwaktu).

At the beginning of each legislative period following general elections, the DPRD appoints a temporary leadership consisting of the eldest member from the largest party as acting speaker and from the second-largest party as acting deputy speaker.
