District heating of Bayanchandmani
Appearance
The district heating system of Bayanchandmani in Töv Province, Mongolia provides the heating to the city of Bayanchandmani, especially during winter months of the country.
Infrastructure
[edit]The district center does not have any centralized district heating system and heating is provided by individual boiler houses. The total capacity of all of the boiler houses is 2.2 MW with 1.4 MW of design head load. The reserve capacity of the boilers is 0.8 MW and the efficiency of the boilers is below 45%. Boilers use untreated raw water.[1]
Fuels
[edit]Coal is transported to the boiler houses by trucks. Yearly, it uses around 900 tons of coal.[1]
