English: Front and rear views of the 1959 Pattern Denison Parachute Smock used primarily by airborne units of the British armed forces. The 'diaper flap' is visible in the rear view, folded up, and snapped in place over the small of the back when not out of use. It can be lowered, passed under the crotch, and fastened inside the front of the smock (with three possible positions to allow for adjustment) to prevent the smock riding up during descents by parachute.
