View SW, towards Knighton, Llandovery and Swansea; ex-London & North Western (Shrewsbury) - Craven Arms - Knighton - Llandovery - Swansea secondary main line. This station and the line (now known as the Heart of Wales Line) are, perhaps surprisingly, still open in 2012, as evidenced by this image taken from roughly the same location. |
