English: The Clinton Plaza Apartments, 550 South Clinton Street, Syracuse, New York, December 2021. A 212-foot-tall, 23-story, 305-unit apartment tower designed in the Modernist style by the firm of Sargent, Webster, Crenshaw & Folley and publicly funded through the Private Housing Finance Law, Clinton Plaza opened in January 1976 serving a community of tenants comprised in about equal measures of fixed-income senior citizens and downtown office workers. It's since been converted to public housing for low-income tenants. |
