DescriptionCovent Garden Piazza with London Transport Museum - geograph.org.uk - 215169.jpg
English: Covent Garden Piazza with London Transport Museum. The prominent red brick building is a wine bar. Beyond it with a row of arches and a pediment is London Transport Museum http://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/ . Currently being restored, the building was the flower market at Covent Garden, built in 1872. The glass roofs on the right were the main fruit and vegetable market built in 1830, with the glass roof added in the 1870s. It is now an area of shops and cafes. Photo from the amphitheatre terrace of the Royal Opera House, early evening.
