Summary

Description
English: A Dactylioceras commune ammonite fossil from the coast of Yorkshire in England. It was found in a concretion in sedimentary rocks of the Whitby Formation, of early Jurassic (Toarcian) age. This fossil is 57 millimetres across at its widest. This fossil has been slightly pyritized.
