This image is considered fair use and passes WP:NFCC guidelines in the article Faris Odeh, since it is a unique historic image, and the reason why Odeh has an article in the first place. According to the Washington Post, it made Odeh "The poster boy for Palestinian defiance [...] a Palestinian legend, his valor celebrated in graffiti and wall art. Political parties pay him homage. Television extols his example. His photograph adorns calendars and posters and has been painted, larger than life and in bright colors, on the walls of refugee camps in the Gaza Strip and on the sides of West Bank office buildings." This image is considered fair use and passes WP:NFCC guidelines in the article Children in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, since it is a unique historic image that, as above, has "become an iconic image of the second intifada", while, more generally, "unarmed Palestinian children throwing stones at Israeli tanks" is a "paradigmatic symbol" of Israeli–Palestinian conflict.[2]
