One of the ten finalists in the 2008 contest (in which it was labelled "Flag C") held by The Oregonian newspaper to try and create a new flag for the state. The green symbolises agriculture, while the gold symbolises both desert and wheat. The white triangles represent a line of snow-capped mountains running through Oregon. |
