Description
English: Igor Petrovich Volk (Russian: Игорь Петрович Волк; born April 12, 1937 in Zmiiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) was a cosmonaut and test pilot in the Soviet Union. Here his guest of Technikmuseum Speyer at the opening of the Buran exhibition 2.10.2008. He was the pilot of the OK-GLI shown there.
Deutsch: Igor Volk (Игорь Петрович Волк) russischer Testpilot und Kosmonaut bei der Eröffnung der Raumfahrthalle des Technikmuseums Speyer. Igor Volk flog den dort ausgestellten Prototyp OK-GLI, mit dem die Parameter für den Landeanflug der russischen Raumfähre Buran erflogen wurden. Auf dem Bild beobachtet er konzentriert ein Video. Obgleich auf beiden Bildern sehr nachdenklich, war Igor Volk an dem Abend gut gelaunt und ein freundlicher Erzähler.
