John_Falter_in_his_studio.jpg (353 × 281 pixels, file size: 31 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
Photographer Jay Wiley (stepson of John Philip Falter). Photograph in the collection of the Nebraska State Historical Society, and used with their permission (photograph #RG4121, or #103388). This is a photo of the late Nebraska artist, John Philip Falter, and being used to illustrate the Wikipedia article about him. Fair use rationale: This was a publicity shot of the artist and is available from the NSHS for use in articles and books about the artist. As the artist is dead, no possibility of taking a personal snapshot exists.
