Description
English: A model of the Kelvin water dropper electrostatic machine invented by Scottish scientist William Thomson (Lord Kelvin) in 1867, on display at the SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention, Bellingham, Washington, USA. This is a fairly faithful replica of Kelvin's original machine sold for educational use in high school and college science classes by a scientific instrument company around the turn of the century.
