English: The eight Philippine horizontally laid, knobbed gongs known as the kulintang used as a main melodic instrument in the kulintang ensemble. Here, it is used as an accompaniment for a healing ritual. The dancers perform the dance, sagayan, while the kulintang player performs the piece, Taggungo. |
