Summary

This building is the Shōshinden at Daikaku-ji, a Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. The building is a Momoyama period replica of the residence of cloistered en:Emperor Go-Uda. The Government of Japan designated it an Important Cultural Property.

I took the photo and contribute my rights in the file to the public domain; individuals and organizations retain rights to images in it.
