English: Lovers Electric In Concert at the Liverpool Summer Pops 2007 Lovers Electric are Eden Boucher (Vocals, Casio & Toy piano) and David Turley (Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Keyboards).
Eden & David both grew up in Australia – Eden with her six sisters together in a motor home and David with his poet dad and pianist mum. They have spent most of the past few years living in London and pursuing a number of careers including street theatre and fashion design. I saw them at the Summer Pops in Liverpool supporting the much more famous Orchestral Manouevres in the Dark (a band often known as OMD). I thought they were very brave performing to a huge crowd armed with just 2 instruments, one a casio piano and a toy piano! I suppose support acts can get away with anything! Nice legs Eden! |
