Summary

Description
English: The silver triangle is formed by connecting two adjacent vertices of a regular octagon to its centre point. With triangle base 2 and height σ, the centre of rotation has Cartesian coordinates (σ/4σ + 3, σ + 2/4σ + 3) relative to the circumcenter. The logarithmic spiral has an expansion rate of σ + 1/2 for every 225 degrees of rotation. The silver gnomons have edges in ratios σ ∶ √(σ + 1) ∶ 1. Silver ratio σ satisfies σ2 = 2σ + 1.
