The California Labor School was a pro-labor institution which was funded by the Communist Party of America and also by captains of industry such as A. P. Giannini, founder of the Bank of America. It was placed on the California Attorney General's blacklist during the House Un-American Activities investigations into Communism in the 1950s. |
