Description	English: Aurukun sawmill, North Queensland, ca. 1950 Aurukun Timber Holdings is wholly owned by the WCCA Southern Sub-Regional Trust - effectively owned and controlled by the indigenous members of the Aurukun community, including the traditional owners of the land whose native title entitles them to fell the timber on the land. Sawmill promises sustainable jobs for traditional owners in Wik Waya, traditional country north of Aurukun.
