Summary

Description
English: Triple-gauge railway yard looking south, Gladstone, SA (South Australian Railways). This yard was necessitated by the presence of contiguous railway lines built to gauges of 1600 mm (5ft 3in) and 1067 mm (3ft 6in) when the 1970 gauge standardisation program introduced 1435 mm (4ft 812)in standard-gauge railway into Gladstone.
