| Description |
English: Informal footwear made from synthetic rubber; the soles are made from a light weight closed-cell foam material; the thongs of a denser material, and fixed to the sole by "plugs". The side plugs can pull through the sole when subject to unusual stress, hence in some models, as here, the side plugs are duplicated for extra strength, hence "double-pluggers". |
