English: Detail from a floor plan of the area around the "Great Rotunda" in the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The floor plan on this page is described by the source as "The Rotunda, second floor, showing locations of paintings, statues and busts". North is to the right (where the Senate wing of the Capitol is located); the House of Representatives wing (the southern end of the building) is to the left. The Portico, on the East side of the Capitol (where the Visitors Center is located, and the direction of the U.S. Supreme Court building and Library of Congress), is toward the bottom. The Mall is toward the top.
