not an ideal picture, as you can have a concealed accessory pathway that conducts retrograde (as illustrated in this picture) but which doesn't conduct anterograde and thus has no preexcitation on EKG - therefore not WPW. in other words, what makes WPW isn't just the presence of an accessory pathway but an accessory pathway that has the ability to conduct from A to V, which gives the delta wave.
