First-class seat (China)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from First-class seat)

China Railway and China Railway High-speed (CRH) offer First Class seating on their trains, a class positioned between Second Class and Business Class. First Class carriages feature two seats on each side of the aisle, with larger, adjustable seats, footrests, power outlets, and water dispensers.[1] On some high-speed Electric Multiple Unit trains, First Class passengers also receive complimentary beverages and snacks.

Premium First Class is a train seating class situated between Business Class and First Class, typically found on Fuxing series EMU trains. Passengers with Premium First Class tickets can use the dedicated Business Class waiting areas at stations. The seating configuration is two seats on each side of the aisle, with some seats being simplified versions of Business Class seats (they cannot fully recline but offer a 45-degree semi-recline). Passengers receive snacks, small towels, earplugs, and blankets, but meals are not provided.
