[edit]Indeed. What genus of marine catfish could have been used by this legendary shipmaster? Almost all catfish are freshwater species. The few marine catfishes are in the families Ariidae and Plotosidae, and a few species from among the Aspredinidae and Bagridae, none of which could have been found in waters where Norwegian sardines were being fished. I smell a catfish. --Wetman 03:58, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I believe the article flubbed the quote
[edit]Perhaps in Norway, there was a similar thing revolving sardines. But I just recently saw Catfish_(film) and the quote that Vince gives is about cod being moved from Alaska to China. Bluecrusade (talk) 07:49, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
