Romania did not recognize the Palestinian state as such. The reference 100 clearly also does not refer to Romania at all. I did not check this for every country, but there is a big chance that there are many more mistakes considering the politically loaded issue. 2A04:241E:303:6800:5C25:41D5:7164:195D (talk) 18:57, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. (3OpenEyes' communication receptacle) | (PS: Have a good day) (acer was here) 22:58, 2 February 2025 (UTC)

President of Mexico says Mexico recognizes the State of Palestine
[edit]On February 5, 2025, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has said that Mexico recognizes both the State of Palestine and the State of Israel: "Sheinbaum confirms that Mexico recognizes Palestine and Israel as states and calls for a peaceful solution to the conflict." Source: https://cnnespanol.cnn.com/2025/02/05/mexico/video/sheinbaum-palestina-israel-estados-conflicto-orix-perspectivas-mexico-tv
"President Claudia Sheinbaum affirmed this Wednesday that her country recognizes both the "State of Palestine" and the "State of Israel" and reiterated the need to "build a peaceful solution," in response to US President Donald Trump's warning of intervention in Gaza" https://forbes.com.mx/sheinbaum-dice-que-mexico-reconoce-a-palestina-ante-plan-de-trump-de-intervenir-en-gaza/
"Mexico recognizes the Palestinian state, Sheinbaum says, after Trump's proposal to take control of Gaza." https://oem.com.mx/elsoldemexico/mexico/sheinbaum-reitera-posicion-de-mexico-para-encontrar-salida-pacifica-en-gaza-21541974
That goes in line with the fact that Mexico's Foreign Ministry's website started referring to Palestine as "the State of Palestine" since 2023 (as in https://www.gob.mx/cms/uploads/attachment/file/916003/ANEXO_5_PAISES_ELEGIBLES.pdf ) and with the fact that the United Nations lists Mexico as having announced to the UN that it recognized the State of Palestine in 2023: https://docs.un.org/en/A/78/846 2804:214:8826:B3A4:4DD:8D22:C958:33F2 (talk) 20:44, 19 March 2025 (UTC)

Mexico recognizes the state of Palestine (referring to both the talk page as well as the Mexico–Palestine relations page) Marissa TRS (talk) 22:10, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- Agreed – the ratification took place more than a month ago:

- Can you make the pertinent edits? Change the number of countries that recognize it, change the map, change Mexico’s position in the main text? 2804:214:8191:9EF2:F944:38FB:8B39:ACB5 (talk) 16:30, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Description of suggested change: The map should present Mexico in green, and the text should reflect this. The senate voted to formalize relations with Palestine in 2021. In 2013 Mexico voted in favor of Palestinian observer status in the UN. <https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relaciones_M%C3%A9xico-Palestina> Diff:

Greece
[edit]Greece definitely recognised Palestine on 2015. Should be green on the map. Greece recognised Palestine back in 2015. 2A02:587:796D:2D00:C059:64FD:1A54:9221 (talk) 15:33, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

- Eventually Greece will recognize the State of Palestine. I’m certain of that. They are just not there yet. YDMC188 (talk) 18:20, 22 March 2025 (UTC)
Please update date and percentage
[edit]The map and text have been corrected to reflect Mexico but the first words see “June 2024”, can someone please change it to “March 2025”? And also the percentage now has to go from “just over 75%” to “over 76%”. 2804:214:8191:9EF2:F944:38FB:8B39:ACB5 (talk) 20:21, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
Date of Mexico's recognition
[edit]One of the previous topics stated that Sheinbaum ratified Mexico's recognition of Palestine on the 5th of February. Other sites ([1][2][3][4]) also state this as well. The problem however is that ever since Nadya Rasheed presented her credentials, many sources claim that Mexico recognized Palestine recently and not last month. Here are some examples that I found:
1. [5]
2. [6]
3. [7]
4. [8]
5. [9]
6. [10]

jns stated that the recent events spark claims of Mexico recognizing Palestine. I need some thoughts on this. Which side is more accurate? Underdwarf58 (talk) 10:06, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- Israeli365news also states that the many news articles above mistakenly claim that Sheinbaum recognizes Palestine. I need answers. Underdwarf58 (talk) 01:13, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
- Mexico has a very known policy of not making announcements of diplomatic recognition - there is a whole Wikipedia page about it: Estrada Doctrine. So they won’t say *when* exactly they recognized Palestine, but the Mexican President has literally said that Mexico already recognizes the State of Palestine. 2804:214:86B4:2ADE:B0A3:73C8:C3CA:DF90 (talk) 02:08, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
