Suspension of autopatrolled permission due to inactivity
[edit]Hello Boleyn. Following a request for comment in May 2025, the community has decided to implement an activity requirement for the autopatrolled permission. Because your account has not edited in the last three years, the autopatrolled permission has been removed from your account. This action is purely procedural and does not affect your ability to create articles; if you return to actively creating articles, you may request that the permission be restored through the normal process. When returning, please consider taking some time to re-familiarize yourself with common practices and how they may have changed over the past few years if you wish to request the permission back. Thank you for all of your contributions to Wikipedia, and we hope to see you again soon. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:18, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- My account has edited in the last 3 years, can this please be reinstated. Boleyn (talk) 08:30, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
- I went to look at your perms because I watch your talk page and was definitely going to grant your request, but the permission hasn't been removed from you. Given that it's only supposed to be given to people who haven't edited and you have, I'm a bit confused about what's going on. I'll go ask some other admins and see if they have a possible explanation and if there's something that should be fixed about this notification. Clovermossđ (talk) 21:30, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
- I have since started a thread at Wikipedia: Administrator's Noticeboard#Possible error with mass message regarding revoked autopatrol about this. Clovermossđ (talk) 21:40, 15 May 2025 (UTC)

Hi Boleyn. I came across this page you created a long time ago, which has been marked as possibly not meeting notability guidelines. As it stands, it probably doesn't. However, it does read like you are quoting something. Do you happen to remember what sources you used? If so, it would be great if you could add them. I've looked on google scholar and JSOTR and I'm finding nothing for this particular Anthony Fothergill. Boynamedsue (talk) 05:14, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Boynamedsue (talk page watcher) Anthony Fothergill is a disambiguation page. Both the the articles it lists were created by Boleyn, so presumably you're talking about one or other of them. Both are clearly based on DNB articles (out of copyrighr) which are in Wikisource and are linked in the articles. What's the problem? PamD 05:25, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- And inclusion in DNB is a pass for notability. PamD 05:26, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- It's the older of the two. I hadn't noticed the DNB as there are no citations. I don't think inclusion in DNB alone would do that, don't we need multiple RS? Of course, I would be surprised if there were only DNB, but there's certainly nothing modern.Boynamedsue (talk) 05:33, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Given the DNB only cites 18th century newspaper cuttings in private hands, and an article written by Fothergill, it may actually be a situation where he doesn't pass WP:GNG.Boynamedsue (talk) 05:38, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

- Hi, it meets WP:ANYBIO. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 13:21, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

Category:16th-century Canadian people has been nominated for deletion. A discussion is taking place to decide whether it complies with the categorization guidelines. The article Murray City Council has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
