The *official* SCP Wiki is an unreliable source for the Wikipedia article about it?
[edit]In regards to a recent revert of an edit I made, I believe you may have made an error. The wiki which you state is "unreliable" is the very same wiki that is the subject of the Wikipedia article "SCP Foundation". If it is indeed considered unreliable (by consensus among Wikipedia editors), then you should also remove citations #5 and #10. ZFT (talk) 21:34, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

- Thank you for letting me know and for bringing this up on the Morph (X-Men: The Animated Series) peer review. I should have recognized that earlier. Apologies for that. I am glad that it is being discussed in a peer review rather than during a potential FAC. I did use one instance of Comic Book Resources for Satsu (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), but it was for a 2008 article, so it is before the Valnet acquisition. I should go back through my old FAs, as I am sure that I used some questionable sources in the past when I was just learning everything.
- I have heard very negative things about Valnet, and it does make me sad as the state of journalism in general seems rather bleak. I wish there were better websites and publications and that journalists and writers were valued more. Sorry for the tangent, and thank you again for the update. - I tend to over-apologize. I really should stop doing that ><. Thank you for sharing! I did not know that Polygon was sold to Valnet. Polygon has gotten a lot of criticism over the years, but I remember reading some really cool articles from that site years ago. It is a real shame.
- I was happy to help with your FACs. Those articles always make me think of my childhood and how I would watch my brother play Resident Evil 2. For some reason, I always remember the Raccoon Police Station parts the most lol. I'd love to play one of the older games on an old television and just feel all the nostalgia lol. I try my best to be nice to everyone on here. The community is my favorite aspect of Wikipedia, and I really enjoy getting to meet and talk with people on here =).
