Penn Medicine BioBank

[edit]

Hi,

I'm trying to write a page about the Penn Medicine BioBank, similar to the UK BioBank's: UK Biobank. This page has generally the same sections plus more than mine, so I'm unsure of why mine is being rejected. Thank you! JLD120 (talk) 14:43, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't submitted it for review? The previous draft was deleteted because it was a copyright violation, your latest version is blatant advertising, what is your connection? Theroadislong (talk) 14:46, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just submitted a new one, I tried to add a sentence and change my wording so it doesn't look like advertising, I'm just trying to add it to the list of biobanks and make a page for it.
I'm not connected to the subject- For one of my classes I get extra credit for contributing to Wikipedia about any topic in genetics, so I picked a biobank that hasn't been written about yet. I went off the formatting of the UK BioBank's page and sections. JLD120 (talk) 15:10, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The UK Biobank article has 90 sources, yours has two neither of which appear to be reliable or independent. Has your tutor read Wikipedia:School and university projects? Theroadislong (talk) 15:24, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will search for more sources! Thank you JLD120 (talk) 15:30, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No...it is blatent advertising and you will be blocked the next time you remove maintenance templates from the draft. Theroadislong (talk) 11:02, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You Mentioned " Paid Editing " on my article

[edit]

Recently you commented on my article " https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Hafilat_Card" which is a draft that " Comment: still reads just like an advert, do you work for them by any chance? "

First of all, I do not work for anybody. That is not a paid editing. I just found out that it's not covered by any Wikipedian. So, I wrote on it. Second, if you found anything promotional, you can remove that.

Thanks, Asadullah272 (talk) 16:33, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Balkans Continued Fraction

[edit]

Many thanks for your comment on the page I created. A secondary source that cites and reports about the conjecture is for instance the scholarly article in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2321440121 According to Wikipedia "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (often abbreviated PNAS or PNAS USA) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary scientific journal. It is the official journal of the National Academy of Sciences, published since 1915, and publishes original research, scientific reviews, commentaries, and letters. According to Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2022 impact factor of 9.4. PNAS is the second most cited scientific journal, with more than 1.9 million cumulative citations from 2008 to 2018. " Wisdomagic (talk) 14:37, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Then please add it to the draft which curently displays a single primary source. Theroadislong (talk) 15:24, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions solved in draft article, thanks!

[edit]

Thank you for the feedback. I have revised the article to adopt a more neutral tone and removed subjective language. Additionally, I have reworked the "Impact" section to avoid unsupported claims and clarified the details provided with reliable sources. Please let me know if further improvements are needed. RSA-Axp (talk) 10:39, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am fine with those of course, I resubmitted (not being familiar with wiki procedure I don't know if there is anything else I should do). Wisdomagic (talk) 07:39, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Theroadislong ๐Ÿ‘‹

[edit]

Dear theroadislong, I wrote the draft: Alef (company) article as best as I could, in a more neutral language, and removed any text that might be in favor of the company. But there is a problem. When I was editing the article, I mistakenly deleted the comments and warnings from it. If possible, please forgive me and please put it on my page again. I'm really grateful. Manikingr (talk) 10:42, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher)@Manikingr: I've handled this. You could have looked in the edit history of the draft and selected a previous version to get the tags. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:35, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
