1846 Salvadoran presidential election

Presidential elections were held in El Salvador on 16 February 1846.[1] Eugenio Aguilar ran unopposed and was elected by the legislature.[2] He started governing as president-elect on 21 February 1846, before formally taking office on 21 July.[3]
