  • November 11 – A 5-year old named Aleia Aielle Aguilar claims a gold medal at kids' 1 under-16 kg. category after defeating Gabriela Vercosa of Brazil at the JJIF Jiu-Jitsu World Championship, becoming the youngest Filipino world champion.[61]
