The 2025 Worcestershire County Council election is due to take place on 1 May 2025 to elect members to Worcestershire County Council in Worcestershire, England.[1] All 57 seats will be elected. This will be on the same day as other local elections.
Background
[edit]In the 2021 election, the Conservatives won 45 seats, giving them a majority and control of the council. The Liberal Democrats were the second biggest party with 4 seats, followed by Labour with 3 seats and the Greens with 2 seats.[2] Two seats were won by independent candidates: Beverley Nielsen in Malvern Langland and Tom Wells in Powick.[3]

After being elected, councillor Bill Hopkins of St Chads left the Conservatives and joined Reform UK.[12]
