- – City and Southwestern Line of the Sydney Metro to extend to Glenfield from Bankstown.[2]
- – Green Line of the Calgary CTrain to start operations between 16 Avenue N and Shepard.[3]
- – Blue Line of the Montreal Metro to extend to Anjou from Saint-Michel.[4]
- – Ontario Line of the Toronto Subway to start operations between Exhibition and Science Centre.[5]
- – Line 5 Eglinton of the Toronto Subway to extend to Renforth from Mount Dennis.[6]
- – Line D of the Prague Metro to start operations between Pankrác and Písnice.[7]
- – Line 15 of the Paris Metro to become a loop line, connecting back to Pont de Sèvres from Saint-Cloud.[8]
