Anemonastrum baicalense is a species of flowering plant in the genus Anemonastrum. It is native to forests, scrub, and grassy places at 500–3100 m. altitude in Siberia, Mongolia, northern China, and North Korea in Northeast Asia.

Anemonastrum baicalense is a perennial herbaceous plant characterized by a branched, ascending rhizome measuring 4–6 mm in diameter. The plant typically produces two or three leaves, with petioles ranging from 10 to 15 cm. The leaf blades are reniform-pentagonal, 3–5 × 4–7 cm, with a cordate base and lobed-dentate margins. Flowering stems (scapes) are solitary, 10–25 cm tall, each bearing one, or occasionally two, flowers with 5 to 7 white sepals. It flowers from May to June and produces a cylindrical-ovoid achene measuring approximately 4–5 mm long and 2–2.5 mm wide.[2]
