History

Ansarada was founded in 2005 in Sydney, Australia. The company initially gained recognition for its virtual data room technology tailored to the M&A market. Over time, it expanded its capabilities to include broader deal workflow automation, procurement infrastructure, and AI-driven tools for high-stakes business processes. In February 2020, Ansarada listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. In August 2024, Datasite Global Corporation completed its acquisition of Ansarada Group Limited (ASX:AND) [2]

Structure

Ansarada employs about 200 people and has offices in Sydney, Chicago, New York City, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, and Hong Kong, with a development center in Ho Chi Minh City.

The four founders and some employees own about 80 percent of the company with a group of investment bankers and lawyers who own 20 percent.[citation needed]

Ansarada Deals

Ansarada’s flagship product, Deals, is an end-to-end platform designed to support every phase of the M&A lifecycle. It includes modules for deal marketing, deal preparation, due diligence, integration, and post-merger integration. The platform integrates AI tools to assist with document analysis, redaction, bidder engagement, and workflow optimization.

Ansarada Procure

Procure is a procurement management platform developed for complex infrastructure projects, particularly those involving public-private partnerships. It offers a central hub for all project data, including secure document sharing, locked box bidder submissions and tracking, evaluation tool, automated two way Q&A processes, and compliance and audit trails monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

Business Model

Ansarada operates on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, with customers able to purchase and activate services online. The platform is widely used by investment banks, legal advisors, corporate development teams, and government procurement officers for managing confidential and time-sensitive information in a secure and auditable environment.

AI-Powered Virtual Data Rooms

Ansarada Virtual Data Rooms (VDR), presented in 2017, is for letting users to know, raise and realize their potential.[3]

AI Bidder Engagement Scoring

Sell-side users of Ansarada Rooms can view an AI Bidder Engagement Score that assigns a numerical value to the likelihood that each potential bidder will make an offer. It predicts who will win and tells sellers who is interested. The AI Bidder Engagement Score is calculated using a machine learning algorithm that takes into account the performance of 57 separate metrics over time.[4]

AiDA

AiDA, an acronym for Ansarada Intelligent Data Assistant, extracts on-demand insights and data based on activity within an Ansarada Room. Users interact with AiDA through a chat interface available for iPhone through the iTunes App Store.[5] The virtual assistant uses Natural Language Processing to understand user requests.[6]

In October 2017, Ansarada launched the world's first Material Information Platform to deliver Readiness as a Service (RaaS)[11] The platform uses technologies in artificial intelligence and machine learning to help businesses be ready for their most important outcomes by structuring their material information correctly, assigning accountability to people and tracking progress with an objective score of readiness.[citation needed]
