Taxonomy

[edit]

Archaeophya was formerly considered a genus within the family Gomphomacromiidae.[5] Recent taxonomic revisions have classified the genus Archaeophya as no longer being assigned to a family, but is now placed incertae sedis within the superfamily Libelluloidea.[6]
