The Argentina census (Spanish: Censo Nacional de Población, Hogares y Viviendas en la Argentina) is a census that takes place every 10 years since 1960.[a] The first census was taken in 1869, under president Domingo Faustino Sarmiento; there have been 11 federal censuses since that time. The most recent national census took place in 2022.[1] Since 1968, the National Institute of Statistics and Census of Argentina is the public body responsible for conducting the census.

La población argentina tiene actualmente 46.044.703 habitantes, es decir, 5.927.607 de personas más que las relevadas en el último censo, en 2010. En mayo de 2022, pocos días después del relevamiento, el INDEC había difundido los primeros resultados preliminares, que indicaban que la población argentina tenía 47.327.407 habitantes. Sin embargo el dato fue corregido esta tarde.
