Ashok Kumar Beniwal, also credited as Ashok Beniwal, is an Indian actor, acting coach, and voice artist. He began his career in theatre in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in 1993 before moving to Mumbai in 1998.[1] He has appeared in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, and English-language films, often portraying police officers and other authoritative figures. His notable film credits include Dil Hai Tumhara (2002), Apharan (2005), Jail (2009), Zila Ghaziabad (2013), Hate Story 2 (2014), Billa II (2012), and Darbar (2020).[2][3]
Early life and career
[edit]Beniwal began his acting career in theatre in Jaipur before transitioning to film and television. He has worked across multiple languages and formats, including web series.[4] He portrayed ASP Roshan Sinha in Mirzapur (2018) and Judge Rastogi in Aashram (2020). In addition to acting, he has been involved in voice training and coaching aspiring actors.[5][6]
Ashok Kumar Beniwal is married and has a daughter, Nandani.[7]
