Asif Mohammad Nazar is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly from Laharighat in the 2021 Assam Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Indian National Congress.[1][2][3]

Nazar, who represents the Laharighat constituency in Morigaon district, delivered a provocative speech during a campaign meeting in Bhuragaon on April 1, 2024. A FIR was also registered against him by a local leader at Bhuragaon police station because of this.[4][5]
