Borowiec [bɔˈrɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Siedlisko, within Nowa Sól County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Siedlisko, 11 km (7 mi) east of Nowa Sól, and 30 km (19 mi) south-east of Zielona Góra.
Three Polish citizens were murdered by Nazi Germany in the village during World War II.[2]
