Occurrence of the Cappahayden Formation in southeastern Newfoundland[2]

The Cappahayden Formation is an Ediacaran formation cropping out in Newfoundland. It comprises fine grey sandstones/siltstones with very fine black parallel laminations, rarely with crossbedding.[3]
