This category was recently renamed. The proposal had been to change to "Israeli nuclear program," but one commenter suggested "Nuclear weapons program of Israel," to parallel other countries. I think this was a mistake. Israel does not acknowledge having a nuclear weapons program. Wikipedia has generally been reticent to assert unequivocally that it has nuclear weapons, although it is generally believed to have them. See in particular List of states with nuclear weapons. This category name now abandons that reticence and asserts that Israel has a nuclear weapons program. I recommend changing to Israeli nuclear program, as had been proposed initially.
