The Chongqing Garrison Command (Chinese: 中国人民解放军重庆警备区; full name People's Liberation Army Chongqing Garrison Command or PLA Chongqing Garrison Command) is a garrison command of the National Defense Mobilization Department of the Central Military Commission in China.
History
[edit]The Chongqing Garrison Command traces its origins to the former Chongqing Military District (中国人民解放军重庆军分区), founded in 1949 and would later become the Chongqing Garrison Command on 16 November 1969.
