Colfax Township is one of seventeen townships in Boone County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 746.
History
[edit]Colfax Township was organized in 1871. It is named for Schuyler Colfax.[3]
Geography
[edit]Colfax Township covers an area of 34.97 square miles (90.6 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Olive Branch.
