Darazo is a Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Nigeria, Its headquarters are in the town of Darazo. Darazo is mainly dominated by Fulani and Karai-karai people.[2][3]
It has an area of 3,015 km2 and a population of 251,597 at the 2006 census.
The postal code of the area is 750.[4]
The Zumbun language is spoken in Jimbim settlement in Darazo LGA.[5]
Climate
[edit]The average annual temperature ranges from 13°C to 39°C, with the wet season being humid and largely cloudy, and the dry season being partly gloomy.[6][7]
