Dicksboro is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Kilkenny City, Ireland.

History

Dicksboro GAA club was founded in 1909.[1] The club takes its name from Dicksboro townland, located next to Kilkenny Airport.[1] The current ground is Palmerstown, to the west of the city,[2] to which the club moved in June 1990.[1]

Dicksboro entered and won the junior championship of 1910.[1] It entered the senior championship in 1911.[1]

Dicksboro had no team from 1961 to 1969, when the club was reformed.[1]
