Dossobuono station is a railway station on the Verona-Mantua-Modena line serving the hamlet of Dossobuono in the municipality of Villafranca di Verona. Until 1986 the station was the terminus of the line to Isola della Scala.
Management of the facilities is entrusted to Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), a subsidiary of the Ferrovie dello Stato group.
Structure and systems
[edit]The original passenger building was demolished in the 1960s. The current one is a two-storey structure, but only the ground floor is open to travellers.
The structure is made of brick and painted yellow; the plan is rectangular.[1]
The yard consists of three tracks, all passing through. All tracks are served by platforms and connected to each other by an underpass.
