"Abhishek Roy Choudhury" is a regular columnist in various national newspapers. He is also a fellow of German Chancellor Fellow.[1] program with the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation [2], representing India, hosted at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin, Germany. Previously, until April 2024, he was hosted at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue [3]. His ongoing research focuses on Indo-German digital co-operation, EU-South Asia digital policy alignment, particularly emphasizing disinformation and foreign information interference landscape. He holds a postgraduate diploma in management specializing in marketing management and Media Communications from Pune institute of Business Management , and a bachelor's degree in History from Jadavapur University, Kolkata [6].

Abhishek is a regular opinion columnist with notable contributions to The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Telegraph where he has written on various subjects of his domain especially on the subjects like Digital Personal Data Protection Act DPDA ( India's data protection law ) [7] and how disinformation affects the communal fabric of South Asia [8]. He is involved in political research and strategic communication, he comments on the Germany's Present centrist government where he discussed about the Germany's Alternative for Germany government's approach towards fiscal policy, debt management, defense spendings, infrastructural development, and other issues [9] on The Telegraph . He has also commented on number of things which is in line with the India and it's relations with other nations such as India and US relation, where he mentioned synergy between India's Atmanirbhar Bharat and America's Make America Great Again [10]. Abhishek has been criticizing government's stiffer policy on many occasions and advocating for liberal view, he denounced Google's removal of pride month and several other quintessential observance from Google calendar application and mentioned about the pressure that Google faced from Trump administration [11]
