Comment: Section headings should be in title case (e.g., "Early life", not "Early Life"), and they should be concise (e.g., "Personal life", not "Personal Life and Volunteering"). voorts (talk/contributions) 02:50, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
Comment: A source is generally considered to be reliable if it has some clear editorial standards, including fact checking. For example, The New York Times or a scholarly journal article would be considered reliable. Some of the sources you cite are blogs and others appear to be press releases. Please note that biographies of living persons are held to a higher standard. voorts (talk/contributions) 02:33, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Almost all of the content from Early Life to Personal Life and Volunteering is unsourced. Rambley (talk) 14:36, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

Alexander Paul Burton is a Swiss, Canadian, and British musician[3][1], producer, and songwriter, known by the stage name Tremolo A Tiempo. His work blends classical harmonies with electronic instrumentation. Burton has been active in music for over twenty years, performing at venues such as Covent Garden and participating in charity events in both the UK and Canada[4][5][6][7].
Early life
[edit]Alexander Paul Burton was born in Bridgwater, Somerset, UK[1]. He lived briefly in Southampton before moving to Catcott, Somerset[1], and later relocating to Falmouth, Cornwall[3]. He attended Crispin School in Street[1] and later Redruth School[2]. Burton pursued studies in Management and Human Nutrition at St. Mary’s University Twickenham, followed by a Master’s in Media and Campaigning from the University of Westminster. He also obtained an MA in Communications and Culture from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
Music career
[edit]Burton has been involved in music for over twenty years. His early work was shaped by his experiences in Cornwall[2] and his time in Japan. His track Distance (thank you) 距離(ありがとう日本) reflects his time in Fujinomiya, near Mount Fuji. Over time, Burton has expanded his musical style, releasing albums across genres including Lofi, Baroque, and Neoclassical music[4][5][6][7]. He averages 1 million streams per year across platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music[3] and has gained recognition within the indie music scene in Toronto[8]. Burton has performed at various venues, including Covent Garden, and participated in charity events in the UK and Canada, remaining active in Toronto’s music scene.[3][2].
Personal life and philanthropy
[edit]Burton is openly LGBTQ+ and identifies as a gay conservative[2][3]. He has supported underrepresented voices within the gay community, particularly those whose experiences may differ from mainstream perspectives[1][2]. He has emphasized the importance of encouraging individuals to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or identity[3][2]. He has participated in sports such as rowing[9][10][11] and long-distance marathons in the past[12][13]
Spoken word poetry and motivational series
[edit]In addition to his music, Burton is involved in spoken word poetry podcasting and offers motivational advice[14]. His OUTLINE series provides guidance and support for LGBTQ+ individuals. Burton has also contributed spoken word poetry to the Millennial Realities Podcast and the New Musician Podcast, addressing themes such as identity, resilience, and artistic growth[14]
Music style and influence
[edit]Burton, known as Tremolo A Tiempo, combines neo-Baroque counterpoint, Romantic phrasing, and electronic synthesis[4], creating hybrid piano and violin textures across Lo-fi[5], neoclassical[6], electronic pop, and acoustic soul styles. His work integrates elements of historical musical styles with contemporary technological developments.
