Amanda Mutheu (2018 – 12 June 2025) was a Kenyan child actress and content creator, best known for her appearances in social media comedy skits. She gained popularity for her expressive performances and collaborations with Kenyan entertainers, including comedian Eric Omondi.
Early life and career
[edit]Amanda was born in 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya. From an early age, she displayed an interest in acting and entertainment. She began appearing in online video skits, quickly gaining attention for her charm and comedic timing. Her work was often featured alongside prominent Kenyan content creators.
Despite her young age, Amanda had already begun establishing herself in the digital entertainment space, where her performances resonated with thousands of viewers.
Death
[edit]On 12 June 2025, Amanda died after a tragic incident at Jacaranda Gardens estate in Roysambu, Nairobi. According to reports, she was under the care of her nanny when her uncle allegedly threw her from a third-floor balcony.[1]
Amanda was rushed to Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Her uncle was restrained by residents and later taken into police custody.[2]
Public reaction
